Our Story

Well here it is, the bar you have all been waiting for.... Wranglers Western Bar and Grill!!!

My name is Katie Haight and my husband is Jeff Haight. We were both born and raised in Oregon, true Oregonians all of our lives. We both worked long hard hours in the automotive industry for years and nothing felt better than to go relax and have fun at our favorite watering hole after a long day at work. I worked as a service advisor and Assistant Service Manager for 12 years and my husband worked as a technician for 17 years, which is how we met. However, it seemed every bar was missing some sort of element... such as good food but no atmosphere, Great atmosphere but crappy food, awesome games but poor service, great service but nothing fun to do. So after 3 years of working together we both decided that the dealerships just werent treating us right and we needed to move on. We decided we were going to create our own bar....So bam!!!! here comes Wranglers Western Bar and Grill.
We searched for a while, and once we found what used to be the Spinning Wheel in Canby, OR, we knew this was the place! The history, the bones, THE STORIES it could tell!!! If only the walls could talk :) We new that this is where we were going to develop Wranglers Western Bar and Grill.
We took over the Business in April 2011 after it had been shut down for several months, it was a mess but we were up for the Challenge. It took us 4 months to clean it up and remodel it with its new face lift. In the midst of all of this is when my husband and i got married, June 18, 2011, took our honeymoon for 10 days and came back. After a few more weeks of clean up, setting up and stocking... WAALAA!!!, We were open to the public July 29, 2011. We were a hit, the locals Welcomed us in. Everyone loved the changes & to this day we are still improving week by week. Priding ourselves on Great Food, Great Entertainment and Great Service. This bar is more than just a bar, it is the place to be! Come in to hang out, relax and have a good time.
